The Los Angeles Police Department says two vehicles were racing in the southbound lanes when one car rear-ended another car

Los Angeles, Calif. – One person died in a street racing crash on Wednesday morning near Canoga Park in Los Angeles.
The fatal collision occurred around 1 a.m. in the 6800 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
The Los Angeles Police Department says two vehicles were racing in the southbound lanes when one car rear-ended another car.
The driver who was rear-ended lost control and slammed into a pole.
Police say the driver was killed in the accident.
The other driver did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
