Phoenix, AZ.- One person was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Phoenix on Sunday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The collision took place on 43rd and Sweetwater avenues at about 8 p.m. June 1.
According to the report, a woman was driving a four-door vehicle southbound on 43rd Avenue when she collided head-on with a northbound two-door vehicle that drifted into her path.
The woman was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Two children and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital and were expected to survive.
Authorities reported that impairment was not believed to have played a role in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
