Multiple vehicles reportedly collided on the highway under unclear circumstances
Lake Stevens, WA.- One person was killed in an accident that happened in Lake Stevens on Wednesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place on State Route 92 near Machias Road on Wednesday, July 23.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other parties were transported to Providence with unspecified injuries.
The highway was shut down for hours as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
