One Dies in Kent Accident on SE 256th Street

Kent, Wash. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Kent early Saturday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened in the 12400 block of SE 256th Street just before 2 a.m. December 30.

The WSP said a Toyota RAV4 and a Dodge Challenger were involved in the collision.

A passenger in the Rav 4, a 30-year-old woman from Kent, was ejected and died at the scene.

The driver of the Challenger, a 25-year-old Kent man, and the driver of the Challenger, a 31-year-old Kent man, were hospitalized with major injuries.

WSP said both drivers were suspected of DUI.

The accident is under investigation.
