One person died after two vehicles collided at Old Highway 80 and Tierra Del Sol Road in El Cajon
El Cajon, CA. – One person was killed in a car accident that occurred early Friday morning in El Cajon.
The fatal collision happened around 1:03 a.m. at Old Highway 80 and Tierra Del Sol Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pickup truck, an SUV and a blue were involved in the accident. Authorities did not immediately determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The female driver of the blue car was ejected from the vehicle after the collision.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The pickup truck driver and a passenger had to be extricated before being airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
