The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at Tennyson Road and Lustig Court at around 10:23 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 56-year-old man was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
