One person killed in Highway 165 crash near Highway 140 in Los Banos
Merced County, CA. – One person was killed in a fiery head-on collision that happened near Los Banos in Merced County on Friday morning.
The 7:06 a.m. collision occurred on Highway 165 near Highway 140, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Red Honda was traveling north on the highway and was attempting to pass a vehicle on a curve when it collided head-on with an oncoming dump truck.
The driver of the Honda was killed in the accident.
The name of the person who died in the accident was not immediately disclosed
