Motorcyclist Killed in Lancaster Accident on Avenue J and 65th Street West
Lancaster, California (August 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Lancaster on Monday night, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at about 10:38 p.m. on August 1.
According to the report, a man was riding a Harley Davidson westbound on Avenue J when he collided with a Honda that had been going north on 65th Street West and failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim was only identified as a man in his 50s.
The intersection was temporarily closed as investigators worked at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
