1 Dies in San Jacinto Car Accident on Highway 79 near Gilman Springs Road
San Jacinto, California (September 21, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in San Jacinto, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place at about 5:12 a.m. on Highway 79 near Gilman Springs Road.
A gray Mazda 3 and two other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Cal Fire and other emergency personnel responded to the scene.
According to the report, one person was killed in the accident.
The crash forced a hard closure of southbound Highway 79 and Gilman Springs Road on-ramp to southbound Highway 79.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
