According to the CHP, a white sedan and a red van were involved in the collision on the southbound lanes of the freeway

North Hills, CA.- One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in the North Hills area early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on the San Diego (405) Freeway near Nordhoff Street at around 2 a.m. April 20.
According to the CHP, a white sedan and a red van were involved in the collision on the southbound lanes of the freeway.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The southbound lanes of the freeway were shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
