Newport Beach, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday morning in Newport Beach.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on Highway 73 near MacArthur Boulevard at around 8:44 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Toyota Corolla is reported to have struck a female pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
