One person killed in 80 Freeway collision near San Francisco-Oakland toll plaza in Oakland
Oakland, CA. – One person was killed in a collision that happened in Oakland on Monday afternoon.
The fatal collision happened on the eastbound 80 Freeway near the San Francisco-Oakland toll plaza at around 1:16 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A sedan and a big rig were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately determined.
CHP reports that one person was killed in the accident.
