1 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 580 Freeway near Park Boulevard in Oakland
Oakland, California (July 4, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred early Monday morning in Oakland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred on eastbound 580 Freeway near Park Boulevard at around 1:02 a.m.
A pickup truck is reported to have collided with a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.
Officials say one person died in the collision.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
