Oxnard, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Tuesday evening in Oxnard.
The collision happened on Vineyard Avenue at Stroube Street at around 7 p.m., according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The man was crossing Vineyard Avenue and was struck by a four-door sedan traveling north on Vineyard.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The identity of the man was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
