Okanogan County, WA. – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Saturday morning near Pateros in Okanogan County.
According to Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 10:25 a.m. on State Route 153.
A man was riding a motorcycle northbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve, drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Honda Accord traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Accord and a passenger were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
