Bakersfield, CA – A pedestrian was killed in a crash on Airport Drive in Bakersfield Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck was reported at around 7:32 p.m. on Airport Drive at Washington Avenue.
A preliminary investigation indicated a black Toyota Honda struck the pedestrian for unknown reasons.
The male victim, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
