Phoenix, Ariz. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The crash took place near Central Avenue and Willetta Street at about 3:30 p.m. January 2.
Police said a man was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The involved driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
