The Seattle Police Department responded to a deadly pedestrian crash near Fourth Avenue South and South Industrial Way at around 5 a.m.
A car hit a pedestrian in the area in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
All lanes of Fourth Avenue South were blocked during the on-scene investigation.
