The Office of the Medical Examiner responded and pronounced the victim dead at the accident scene

Phoenix, AZ. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in central Phoenix early Saturday morning.
The collision happened around 1 a.m. at Galvin Parkway and McDowell Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
A pedestrian was struck by two cars in unclear circumstances.
The driver of one of the cars fled the scene, but the driver of the second car remained at the scene and called the police.
The Office of the Medical Examiner responded and pronounced the victim dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
