Placerville, CA. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Thursday afternoon in Placerville.
At around 1:41 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 193 near Circle Drive.
A white utility truck and an SUV were located at the accident scene. The vehicles are believed to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
One person was killed in the accident.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
