1 Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 299 near Kennedy Memorial Rd in Redding
Redding, California (August 18, 2022) – One person was killed in a head-on collision that happened in Redding on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 299 near Kennedy Memorial Road at around 11:55 a.m.
A vehicle reportedly collided head-on with a big rig for unknown reasons.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
