One Killed in Butte County Crash on Highway 99 at Richvale Highway
Butte County, California (September 6, 2022) – One person was killed in a rollover collision on Monday afternoon in Butte County, according to CAL FIRE Butte Unit.
The crash happened on Highway 99 at Richvale Highway at around 12:20 p.m. on Monday, September 5.
According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the incident, which caused at least one of them to roll over.
Two people were taken to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries, while two others were transported with unknown injuries.
Authorities later confirmed that one party had died following the accident.
Crews had one-way traffic control in place due to the collision.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
