Baker, CA – One person is dead following a single-car rollover crash on Interstate 15 in Baker Saturday evening.
The deadly crash happened at about 5:23 p.m. on July 12, 2025, northbound I-15 at milepost 120 (about 8 miles from Basin Road exit).
Detectives said a white sedan was traveling northbound on I-15 when, for some reason, it left the roadway into the dirt center median and rolled over a couple times, coming to rest on its wheels near the southbound side.
According to CHPO, a child passenger was ejected from the car as the vehicle rolled.
The San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and requested a medical helicopter.
One person was flown to the hospital with unknown injuries.
CHP also confirmed that one person died in the incident. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
