Cunningham was apprehended after attempting to flee the crash scene on foot

Sacramento, CA. – One person died after a police pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in Sacramento.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the accident happened around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive.
Police on patrol reportedly found a domestic violence suspect with an outstanding warrant of arrest in a vehicle in the area.
The suspect, Daniel Cunningham, 33, fled leading a high-speed chase westbound on Florin Road.
A short time later, the suspect's vehicle collided with multiple vehicles.
An innocent driver was killed in the accident.
Cunningham was apprehended after attempting to flee the crash scene on foot. He was booked on multiple charges including parole violation, domestic violence and felony pursuit.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
