1 Killed in Collision at Alisal Road and Hartnell Road in Salinas
Monterey County, California (July 1, 2022) – One person was killed in a collision involving a piece of farm equipment on Friday morning in Salinas.
The fatal accident was reported at around 5:21 a.m. in the area of Alisal Road and Hartnell Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into a piece of farm equipment. Officials say the pickup truck ended up underneath the trailer of the farm machine.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not disclosed.
An investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
