Police say the driver is believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol.

San Jose, CA. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning in San Jose.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:53 a.m., at U.S. Route 101 and Interstate 280.
A motorcycle was on the right shoulder of the freeway when a Cadillac left the roadway and struck the motorcycle.
The impact sent the Cadillac across all lanes of traffic and crashed into the center divider.
The motorcyclist was killed in the collision.
Police say the driver is believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol.
