Police say the pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries
San Jose, Calif. – A man has died after being hit by a car last week in East San Jose.
The pedestrian accident happened at around 12:13 p.m. on February 10, in the area of Story Road and Galahad Avenue., according to the San Jose police.
The man was crossing the street in a crosswalk when he was hit by a Honda Civic sedan.
Police say the pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he was stabilized.
Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries ten days later.
The identity of the man was not released pending notification of the family.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The accident remains under investigation.
