One Dies in Lancaster Scooter Accident on Avenue H-8 and 30th Street East
Lancaster, California (July 26, 2022) – One person was killed in a scooter crash in Lancaster on Sunday night, according to a report by the authorities.
The incident happened on Avenue H-8 and 30th Street East at about 9:06 p.m. on July 24.
According to the report, a motorized scooter was traveling north on 30th Street East when the rider was struck by a Toyota that had been traveling westbound on Avenue H-8 and made a southbound turn onto 30th Street.
The rider of the scooter, a man in his 40s, was rushed to the Antelope Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The area of Avenue H-8 and 30th Street East was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
