The 60-year-old man was walking across and was hit by a car driven by a 23-year-old man

Seattle, WA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Thursday night in Seattle's South Park neighborhood.
According to Seattle Police Department, the accident happened at intersection of 14th Avenue South and South Henderson Street at about 11 p.m.
The 60-year-old man was walking across and was hit by a car driven by a 23-year-old man.
Seattle fire crews performed life-saving measures on the man, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Police don't believe impairment was a factor in the accident.
