One person died after two cars collided on State Route 2 near 88th Street in Snohomish
Snohomish, Wash. – One person was killed in a head-on collision that happened on Wednesday evening in Snohomish County.
The accident happened at around 6:22 p.m. on State Route 2 near 88th Street, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Two vehicles collided head-on in unclear circumstances. Both drivers were trapped inside the vehicles and had to be extricated by the Snohomish County Fire District and Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue crews who responded to the incident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
