1 Dies in Car Accident on Highway 99 near Frontage Road in Stockton

Stockton, California (March 28, 2022) – A man was killed and three children were injured in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Stockton.
The deadly collision was reported at around 2:17 p.m. on Highway 99 near Frontage Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Toyota Corolla was traveling north on Frontage when the driver attempted to pull into a driveway when it was struck by a Dodge pickup truck driven by a 33-year-old man.
The driver of the Toyota, a 37-year-old Stockton man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three children inside the Corolla were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Dodge driver reportedly drove away from the scene and was arrested.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
