A driver died after crashing into a recreational vehicle on Highway 237 near Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale, Calif. – One person was killed in a car crash that occurred near Sunnyvale in Santa Clara on Sunday morning.
The collision occurred at around 1 a.m. on Highway 237 near the Lawrence Expressway off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A car is reported to have crashed into an RV in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused the car to crash into a tree on the shoulder of the freeway.
The driver of the car was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
