County, Calif. – One person is dead after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Wednesday morning, according to a police report.

The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 280 and Road 148 near .

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Avenue 280 and was making a U-turn when it was struck by another car.
