At around 1:24 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a car accident in the area of Vermont Avenue and 97th Street.
A vehicle was pulling out of the side of 97th Street when it struck a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue.
One person was killed in the accident.
