One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 2 near Scrub Oak Drive in Victorville

Victorville, Calif. – At least one person was killed in a car accident on Friday morning in Victorville.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened at around 10:22 a.m. on Highway 2 near Scrub Oak Drive.
Two vehicles, possibly a silver Honda Civic and a silver pickup truck, were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
