The CHP reported that a Dodge Durango was traveling north on southbound Highway 87 when it collided with an oncoming Nissan Altima
San Jose, CA.- A person was killed in a wrong-way collision in San Jose early Monday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 87, just north of Taylor Street at about 2:18 a.m.
The CHP reported that a Dodge Durango was traveling north on southbound Highway 87 when it collided with an oncoming Nissan Altima.
Passengers in both vehicles were taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
The passenger in the Nissan was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
CHP reported that the driver of the Dodge was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
