1 Dies in 5 Freeway Car Accident near Highway 152 in Merced
Merced, California (February 24, 2022) – A driver was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on Thursday morning in Merced.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on northbound 5 Freeway near Highway 152 at around 6:34 a.m.
A motorist was traveling on the freeway and crashed into a semi-truck for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused part of the vehicle to be stuck to the semi-truck while another part was in the number 2 lane of the freeway.
One person was killed in the accident.
