Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Mission Boulevard at Pacific Beach Drive in San Diego
San Diego, California (February 7, 2022) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that left one other person injured in Mission Beach on Sunday night.
The fatal crash happened on Mission Boulevard at Pacific Beach Drive at about 9:40 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 25-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on Mission Boulevard when he ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a 62-year-old woman.
The unidentified man was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The woman was hospitalized with a complaint of pain to her neck and back.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
