1 Killed in Fiery Car Accident on 91 Freeway near Green River Road in Riverside
Riverside, California (February 11, 2022) – A motorist was killed in a fiery car crash on Wednesday evening in Riverside.
The deadly collision happened on the 91 Freeway near Green River Road at about 10 p.m., February 9, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials say a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Highlander were involved in the collision. One of the cars was reportedly stalled on the roadway when it was struck by the second car.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage in the collision while one caught fire.
After extinguishing fire on the Camry, firefighters established that the driver who was the sole occupant had perished in the crash.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
