One Killed in Bakersfield Collision on Interstate 5
Bakersfield, California (December 10, 2021) – One person was killed Thursday afternoon in an RV crash in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash was reported at around 1:08 p.m. Thursday, December 9, on Interstate 5.
CHP said a dark-colored car overturned and collided with an RV. The dark-colored car then rolled off Interstate 5 into an orchard.
One person in the dark-colored car was ejected from the vehicle. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Good Samaritan was carjacked at the crash site.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
