1 Killed in Car Accident at Highway 1 at San Lusito Creek Road in San Luis Obispo
San Luis Obispo, California (January 1, 2022) – A man was killed in a Friday night car crash in San Luis Obispo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened at about 7:22 p.m. on Highway 1 at San Lusito Creek Road.
The man was driving a Chevrolet pickup in the left turn lane of southbound Highway 1 when he made a left turn directly in front of a northbound Hyundai Sonata driven by Gerardo Aldama, of Santa Maria.
Aldama applied his brakes but was unable to avoid the collision.
