One Dies in North Hollywood Car Accident on Sherman Way
North Hollywood, California (October 2, 2021) – One driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a deadly accident in North Hollywood on Friday night, according to police.
Shortly after 11 p.m. October 1, police said a pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed on Sherman Way when it attempted to make a turn into a Denny's parking lot and collided with the side of an SUV.

One unidentified person died at the scene of the crash.
Two other parties were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the pickup was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of DUI.
The accident is under investigation.
