Sacramento, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a car collision that happened Friday afternoon on a freeway in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway just north of Highway 99.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The patient was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
