A car slammed into a big rig near the W Grand Avenue on-ramp and got stuck underneath.
Oakland, Calif. – One person was injured in a car versus semi-truck accident that took place Thursday night on a freeway in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported around 9:44 p.m. on the northbound 88 Freeway, just south of the W Grand Avenue on-ramp.
A car slammed into a big rig and got stuck underneath.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the car driver. The victim suffered minor injuries.
CHP officers did not mention the cause of the collision but an investigation is ongoing.
