San Carlos, CA. – One person was hurt in a traffic collision that happened Monday afternoon on Highway 101 in San Carlos, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 1:36 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway near the Holly Street off-ramp.
A red Honda sedan and a Volkswagen sedan were involved in the crash.
One person complained of pain to the head. Paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the victim.
The Volkswagen sedan was towed away with moderate rear-end damage, and the Honda sedan with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the collision.
