Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Pacific Beach Crash at Grand Avenue and Kendall Drive

Pacific Beach, CA.- One person was seriously hurt in a collision involving a motorcyclist in Pacific Beach on Sunday evening, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The collision took place on Grand Avenue and Kendall Drive at about 6:30 p.m. July 21.

A 22-year-old man was riding a 2007 Suzuki bike east on Grand Avenue when he slammed into the side of a 2020 Jeep Cherokee that was making a turn from westbound Grand Avenue onto southbound Kendall Street.

The rider of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with a fracture to the left tibia and fibula.

The 33-year-old man driving the Cherokee was not hurt in the collision.

No further details were released.

The collision is under investigation.
