At Least Hurt in Visalia Crash on State Route 198 near Shirk Road
Visalia, California (September 8, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 198 in Visalia on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened near Shirk Road at around 8:21 a.m.
A white Toyota Camry and a brown Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were among three vehicles that collided in the westbound lanes of SR 198.
One person was transported to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, including fractured ribs.
Further details on the collision were not immediately released.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
