1 Seriously Injured in Collision on 710 Freeway near 5 Freeway in Boyle Heights
Los Angeles, California (September 7, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, early Wednesday morning.
According to a statement by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on southbound 710 Freeway near 5 Freeway at around 12:07 a.m.
As many as five vehicles including a semi-truck were involved in the crash. Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, one vehicle reportedly overturned after the accident.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
