One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 4 near Harbor Street in Contra Costa
Contra Costa, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday night in Pittsburg.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on westbound Highway 4 near Harbor Street at around 9:29 p.m.
Four vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
