1 Sustains Major Injuries in Highway 156 Crash near Highway 101 in Prunedale
Prunedale, California (June 5, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a rollover collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Prunedale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 1:09 p.m. on westbound Highway 156, just east of southbound Highway 101.
A Ford pickup truck collided with an SUV and overturned onto its side.
Several people were attempting to roll the pickup truck over to help the occupant get out of the vehicle before emergency crews arrived.
One person sustained severe injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
